  1. 2COL is a compressed print utility that will print 4  (or even 8 pages) on one
  2. side of a sheet of paper in 2 column format. It is intended for dot matrix
  3. printers. Make sure your printer switches are set for Epson mode, not IBM mode.

  5. To print the manual  on a 9-pin printer using 2col, type:
  6. 2COL 2COL.DOC (enter)
  7.  
  8. If your printer cannot print 20 characters/inch, type:
  9. 2COL 2COL.DOC -W68 (enter)
  10.  
  11. To print the manual in 2 column format on 24-pin printers, type:
  12. COPY 2COLLQ.DOC PRN (enter)

  20. A left margin option has been added. Read the instructions carefully before

  25. Registered users can now direct output to a file instead of the
  26. printer. The file can then be used for printing in background while
  27. running other programs. This option can also be used to redirect output
  28. to LPT2, COM1, COM2, etc.
